The Healthy Marriage Grant
Would you like more people accessing the marriage strengthening
services that your organization provides?
The National Healthy Marriage Institute is pleased to announce that it will award 10 grants for marriage education
advertising materials.
Each organization that wins one of the 10 grants will receive 1000 customized copies of pamphlets from the Healthy
Marriage Pamphlet Series. Click here to read all 15 topics.
Hundreds of thousands of these pamphlets have been used
by couples around the world to learn research based skills and insights to strengthen their marriages. The back
middle column will be customized with information about your organization and the additional services you provide
to strengthen marriages.
In essence the pamphlet is a sample of marriage education. The services you provide are the full meal they are
directed to after seeing the difference one marriage strengthening skill makes in their relationship. So not only
will this advertise the services your organization provides but it will give the reader something tangible right
then they can do to improve their marriage.
To apply for the grant all you need is a letter of commitment from one or more local organizations that will distribute
the 1000 pamphlets to the people they serve.
Schools, government agencies, community agencies, businesses, and churches are all potential partners. To help
you recruit partners click here for the text of the letter we used to get school districts
across the US to commit to send home hundreds of thousands of copies of the pamphlets with their students for their
parents to use to improve their marriages.
Even if your organization does not win one of the 10 grants for the 1000 pamphlets we will donate the time of our
graphic designer to customize the pdf files for 4 of the pamphlets with your information. You can then print as
many copies as you would like to distribute in your community.
The deadline to apply for this grant is June 15th, 2011
